On Huawei devices there is the whole "Protected apps" system, which requires users to manually approve each app they want to be able to run when the screen is off. The “Protected apps” system is a battery saving feature. Apps not selected as protected apps stop working once the screen is off. For example, VitaBit will stop collecting data unless it’s selected as “Protected apps” on Huawei devices. Thus, if you use Huawei devices and find the VitaBit data inaccurate on the portal you can try the following steps to fix it:
1. Open “Battery manager”.
2. Find “Protected apps” and enter it.
3. Turn on the switch for VitaBit to allow it to keep running after the screen is turned off.
